KRÜGSPEED Lotus - How 'Fast' Happens Part 1 - /SHAKEDOWN

Alex Krugman and his KRÜGSPEED team build Lotus Exige racecars. Leo Parente and /ShakeDown visit the team at Lime Rock Park to catch up on preparations for the SCCA Runoffs and to drive their Supercharged Lotus Exige racecar. Leo may not be Kimi, but at least this Lotus IS a Lotus.

Lime Rock Park is the home of the Skip Barber Racing School - where Leo learned to race and the track Leo last raced all the way back in 1992! But, the track hasn't changed and racers never forget how to go fast.

This show, Part 1, takes a behind-the-scenes look at the KRÜGSPEED team, the car, and what it's like to race at the higher levels of amateur competition.

Part 2 Leo takes the Lotus on track.
